Measuring Sustainability
In this second Introduction to Sustainable Design video, Josh explores various methods of measuring and accounting for sustainability. He discusses the inherent flaws of the GDP as a measure of progress and identifies the Genuine Progress Indicator as an alternative option. He also shows how Life Cycle Assessments, organizational reporting programs, and ecological footprinting can be used to help move society towards sustainability.
